“ This place has an amazing menu, more bourbon to choose from for cocktails that I've ever seen in a restaurant/bar. Appetizers that you just don't see in other restaurants. The entire experience was perfect. ”
“ GET OUT! Do you like wings? Want to try a little different style? Well, The Brass Rail is here to answer that. I was told that they use a ridiculous amount of different spices to marinate the wings. They then slow smoke them, and then they are grilled to order. I love crispy buffalo wings, but these may take 1st place. If you go on Tuesday's, they have a wing special. 10 wings, on a bed of fries, with 2 sauces, and 1 dressing of your choice. Dressing choices are homemade blue cheese, and ranch. Sauce choices are hot(their buffalo), hot bbq, teriyaki, Old Bay, Thai, and Asian Zing(personal favorite!). $12.50 The staff is great. Happy hour alk day Monday, but on Tuesday's it's over @ 5(so get there early). Do yourself a favor when they hit the table. Stack the wings to the side, and the fries will stay crispy. ”
“ For what it is, The Brass Rail is a great restaurant. It's not a destination restaurant, so if you're out in St. Louis I wouldn't recommend driving all the way over here or anything just to eat here. However, if you live in O'Fallon, Dardenne, Weldon Spring etc. and want to come for casual dining experience with good quality food, I'd definitely recommend this place. They have a lot of TVs set up in the place so if you would like to watch some game, they'll probably have it. Their alcohol selection is fairly impressive, as is their beer selection. The food here is pretty good too. It's maybe not exactly casual dining, but I would still say it's closer to casual than it is to fine dining. That said, the food is all pretty good quality and I feel like they have good cooks here. I've liked everything I've gotten here, and if you have an issue with any of the dishes they are always pretty accommodating. They also have a fairly wide selection of dishes, so there's plenty of options. One final note is that this place seems to be popular for holding events on occasion (I think I've seen a number of post wedding parties held here), so they might be closed if you ”
“ I have been to O'Fallon for work several times now. Not once has anyone recommended The Brass Rail and I have had literal brainstorming sessions with people in office. Everyone recommends a well known local steak place - I'm like no - BRASS RAIL. Literally. I had the filet at the place to not be named and it was mediocre at best - Brass Rail was top notch, when it comes to a medium rare filet Brass Rail is THE spot. The sides were fine, I wouldn't write home about them, but they had a molten chocolate cake with raspberry I would. Desserts seem to rotate daily so don't visit for just that without verifying ahead of time. On top of this the service was amazing, I sat at the bar and the bartender was great conversation taion - the helicopter pilot next to me got the BBQ dinner and said it too was top notch. The ambiance of the place made you feel like you were actually at a higher scale restaurant as opposed to an old bar suck in the 80's. I went back to the colleagues and said "this has been here the whole time?!" - I shouldn't have relied on them, just Yelp. ”
“ The service was quick and friendly. We loved the Monterey Seasoned Chicken fingers and my mom enjoyed the fig and Brie burger. We also had a small house salad that was a generous size. The menu has many options for whatever food mood you are in. Looking forward to going back. ”
“ Went there for dinner with a few friends this evening. I got the "steakloaf" and it was good. Two of my friends got the Ceaser salad, and seemed to quite enjoy that, and the last got jambalaya and she said it was really good! The server was pleasant enough, but wouldn't quite give him five stars. ”
“ Be prepared for a bit of a wait but, there's a reason why...it is definitely a local favorite! Being busy doesn't compromise service; everything was out quickly and correctly. The menu has lots of options, appetizers to desserts. The atmosphere is casual but not sports bar-ish. TVs in bar area. Inside and outside (weather permitting) options; patio is dog friendly. Pricing is higher side of casual diner but you get value for your dollars. ”
“ Great place for happy hour and for company events. Food is good, service is good, atmosphere is good. Drinks are good, desserts are great! I like the gooey butter cake and chocolate cake with ice cream. So yum! Price I have no clue because I came for a company event. Parking is plentiful and free. Nom Nom Nom! ”
“ I recently attended an office dinner at a restaurant that happened to have an all-day happy hour on Wednesdays. It was a delightful surprise and added to the overall enjoyment of the evening. What made the experience even better was the exceptional service provided by the staff. They were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was enjoyable. The food portions were also generous, leaving us feeling satisfied and content. The combination of the discounted prices during happy hour, the wonderful service, and the large food portions made for a truly memorable dining experience. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant not only on Wednesdays but also on other days to experience their outstanding service and delicious food. ”
